woke at seven thirty am today from wiping sweat off my brow it’s the last day of work for the school year at saint joseph montessori school so i made vegan cookies for my kids with leslie and drank coffee and wrote little heart cards for each of my students i will miss their voices that were tiny yet still bigger than my own tonight i am playing a show at monster house with a full band called great health andy gardner and matty golightley are in the band with me i will drink beer and be agreeable and laugh with people i hold dear hearts touching feeling
